WOMEN CELL – NG. MANI COLLEGE

The Ng. Mani College constituted Women Cell on campus, dedicated to the welfare of female students, women teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. The women cell is meant to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all women of the college. the primary goal is to enhance understanding of women related issues and create a safe environment within the college. It will strive to empower women to realize their potential and compete for equal opportunities in building successful homes and career in their lives.The Women Cell of Ng. Mani College, aims at empowering and guiding women to recognize their true potential and to achieve their own position in society. Its goal is the holistic development in all areas of their lives.

Objectives:

To build a positive image of women in the society and recognise their contributions in social, economic and political sphere.
To increase awareness of women related social issues, health, employment and gender related matters.
To enhance self-esteem and self confidence among women students and staff.
To foster decision making ability.
To realize the role of women in building up of a healthy society.
